Born on the 8th July 1986, Alex started playing the Guitar at Primary School, later moving onto the piano.
Continuing to play the piano into High School, Alex decided he wanted to learn the violin at the late age of 12.

Previous to starting at the RCS (RSAMD), he studied with Richard Stamper in his home town on the Wirral, England.
He led two major county youth orchestras, Cheshire Youth Orchestra – Conducted by Laura Jellicoe, and the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, conducted by Matt Corey.
In these orchestras Alex received sectionals from leading musicians from the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Before Alex’s leave to Glasgow, he was asked to play with the SCYM (South Cheshire Young Musicians), organised by David Ketley who commissioned a piece of music for Alex appropriately named “A Scottish Journey”.
Kean to help charities, Alex has helped by playing and raising money for many charities, including Zoe’s Place, MacMillan, and Red Nose Day.
